SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning and working on scripts development for App software build, test automation and CICD (Continuous Integration and Continuous delivery) management. The candidate will be offered a range of opportunities to learn and experience many aspects of scripting, tools usage, process and software design in the exciting fast changing world of SDV (Software Defined Vehicle) development. DevOps software development tasks include script design documentation, writing scripts to support Closures App software development with Test and deployment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    Design the CICD infrastructure using Github
  • Develop scripts using Python, YAML, Matlab for CICD pipeline development and Test automation
  • Develop APIs from OEM specification, using C for App integration
  • Integrate and Build App into object file for multiple variants
  • App software change and configuration management
  • App software release management as per OEM cadences
  • Develop and track software release schedules
  • Integration of overall App development into the existing ASPICE process
  • Development of Scrum/Agile software development process

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering field required with a strong preference for Computer Science/IT/Data Science or Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency with developing scripts using Python
  • Proficiency with developing with C language, Compile and build
  • Proficiency with Github or Jenkins for CICD development
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools is essential.

EXPERIENCE Preferred

  • Prior experience of Scrum/Agile software development process
  • Prior SDV experience
  • Prior experience of DevOps systems projects
  • Prior experience of scripting using Matlab or YAML

LANGUAGE SKILLS

  • Good oral and written English language skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.

PROBLEM SOLVING

Self-starter. The candidate must possess strong analytical capability. Possesses excellent problem solving skills as evidenced by adherence to disciplined problem solving methods resulting in solid solutions to kill the issue.

DEVELOPMENT TOOLS AND INSTRUMENTATION

Strong personal computer proficiency.
