Job Description

At Designory's 3D & Interactive division, we're building product visualizations, digital walkthroughs,

VR/AR experiences, images and video, and game assets for big brands for automotive.

We're looking for strong Lighting artists who can integrate into a global team to create stunning automobiles in Unreal Engine.

We value strong technical skills, a creative eye, and a wild passion for building immersive content.


Location: Hybrid out of our Los Angeles, Long Beach, Chicago, NYC or Detroit offices.

Schedule: Hybrid - In office three days per week and 2 remote

Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000 a year

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our creative directors, our game developers, and our engineers to create stunning images, videoes, and immersive brand experiences in Unreal 5.3.
  • Work with Maya data as a base and be able to optimize for Unreal Engine.
  • Assist with creating rich outdoor 3D environments.
  • Help us innovate with your creativity and ideas.

Requirements:

  • 5 Years of experience lighting in Unreal.
  • Portfolio showcasing automotive in real-time environments in Unreal.
  • Great communication skills and experience working through remote collaboration platforms.
  • Highly proficient with 3D modeling and data optimization.
  • Skilled at texturing, rigging, and some proficiency at animation.
  • Beginner to intermediate knowledge of game scripting (C++/Blueprints).
  • Experience with source control (SVN, Git, Perforce, or Plastic).
  • Strong proficiency in Unreal 5.
  • Proficiency in Maya or 3ds a plus.
  • Ability to originate 3D models such as props (trees, foliage, roads, and other environment details) are a bonus.
  • Ability to create or kitbash 3D environments a plus.
  • VR/AR/XR experience is a plus.
  • Associate degree in computer science, game development, or fine arts preferred.
  • Must have experience working with profiling tools.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced agency environment.
