Job Description



About the Role:

  • Work as the intermediary between program office, configuration management, design engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain. Properly review all change packages including inputs from design engineering, manufacturing engineering and our customers. Document all supply chain cost and schedule impacts to our configuration management team for all suggested configuration changes. Represent supply chain as the departments main point of contact and subject matter expert as it relates to configuration management.

Position Description:

  • Work with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to determine physical alterations required to meet the intent of the change
  • Utilize Oracle MRP to collaborate with procurement and manufacturing to determine when the desired change can be pushed into planning and document projected effective date in TeamCenter
  • Review Change Orders and Requests for Variance and determine both cost and schedule impacts to implement the changes into planning
  • Provide Supply chain planner with all needed documentation to cut change order into Oracle MRP once the Change order has been pushed into Oracle
  • Update Teamcenter estimated effectivity with final effectivity once the change has officially been implemented into production

Position Requirements:

  • 3-6 years' experience in supply chain management or configuration management.
  • Familiarity in Teamcenter performing as either a Change Specialist or Change Analyst or comparable engineering support function / tools / processes
  • Understanding of ERP/MRP planning required.
  • Understanding of Bills of Material and planning required.
  • Technical Degree Required, bachelor's degree preferred with a technical discipline desired (e.g., Engineering or Supply Chain)
  • Preferred proficiency in analyzing technical data including engineering drawings, specifications, and change documents.
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
  • Proficient communication, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated skill in Microsoft Office applications
  • Goal-oriented and able to work under time sensitive and demanding conditions
