Description
Mechanic: Industrial Machinery work focuses on installing, repairing, maintaining, dismantling, and moving large and/or complex stationary manufacturing equipment including: Leveling, aligning and installing industrial machinery (e.g., conveyors, tram rails, engines, turbines, production equipment, etc.) on foundations/base plates using hand and power tools. Dismantling/moving machinery/equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks. Determining and performing required maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, aligning/adjusting parts, calibrating, etc.). Testing, troubleshooting, and repairing machines and equipment and ordering/installing replacement parts An Experienced Para-Professional (S2) requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. May require the following proficiency: Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
