Job Description Summary

Oversees the daily operations of a high volume Automated CNC Production Cell. Including but not limited to, the Safety, Quality, Production
Goals, and Continuous Improvements of the assigned Value Stream

Job Description

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in high volume precision machining environment
  • General understanding of manufacturing processes and thorough knowledge of CNC Machine Tool operation, Tooling, Work Holding, and Programming
  • Performing daily dimension checks in accordance to the Control Plan and Quality documents
  • Experience with making tool path, work, and variable offsets
  • Machine set-ups and change-overs
  • Required to change and present Tooling
  • Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques
  • Ability to perform and train associates on Standardized Work and Quality Standards
  • Author daily production documents, scrap, machine checks, quality checks, and carryover
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement Processes
  • Ability to keep a safe and clean work environment
  • Adhere to Corporate policies and procedures
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

Required Skills and Education

  • Ability to complete mathematical computations
  • Experience using calipers, indicators and other basic measuring equipment
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and CMM Reports
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Required to obtain Forklift and LOTO Certifications
  • Ability to work effectively with others
  • Acceptable attendance record
  • GED or High School Diploma required
