Avis Budget Group is seeking a motivated accounting student to join our team as an Intern of General Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented student to gain experience with best-in-class accounting department with the latest oracle cloud tools.

You will assist with personal property and real estate tax accounting. As well as assist the group with entries and account reconciliations.

You should be outgoing, motivated, intellectually curious, and have experience trouble-shooting and resolving issues in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do:

• Assist in preparation of journal entries for monthly close processes
• Assist in preparing account reconciliation analyses
• Coordinate with tax department and properties to ensure facilities are accounted for properly
• Assist with other ad hoc projects as requested by management

What we're looking for:

• Working towards a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Accounting, or related discipline

Skills and abilities you should have:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Detail and deadline orientated individual
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
